Proud to be a new installing company for Ameristar air conditioners.  This quality condensing unit was put in during an Eagle Idaho ac repair.  The existing unit had been rotted away by male dog urine and was loosing its cooling capacity.  This install took only 2 hours and is the first one we have put in Eagle.  Ameristar is owned by Ingersoll Rand the same company that makes Trane and American Standard.  After installing, it is easy to see that the same care to quality was put into this unit as well.  I was pleased with the ease of installation as well as the components Ameristar chose to include. It was cost effective and worked flawlessly with the existing indoor coil.  Thus saving the homeowner a lot of money on the install.

The Failure on this Eagle Idaho Ac Repair

The old unit had about 20% of the aluminum fins missing due to the ammonia in male dog urine.  This occurs because aluminum and ammonia react together in such away that a chain reaction is set in motion.  Dissolving the aluminum, this process continues until there is nothing left resulting in either limited cooling or Freon leaks in the coil.  To help prevent this from happening to your unit simply build a small fence or enclosure around the ac unit.
