Change The Filters Every 6 Months
Clogged or dirty filters block normal airflow and significantly reduce the ability of your AC unit to operate efficiently. Most filters are inexpensive and easy to replace, yet it is something that most homeowners just don’t think of until they notice a problem with their HVAC system.
Check AC Coils
Remove any build up of dust or debris around the condenser unit to ensure proper airflow around the unit. Make sure to trim back any tall grass, bushes or other foliage that might also interfere with airflow. Evaporator coils should also be cleaned on a regular basis.
